Phil Klassen has over 30 years of experience in electrical engineering technology training. Mr. Klassen is currently the Academic Coordinator for the Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) Department at Red River College. The EET department does training in Electrical, Instrumentation and Electronic Technologies.
Phil has also presented courses and seminars to various international educational institutions. He has taught at the Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He has also worked with instructors and coordinators at the Shenyang Institute of Engineering in Shenyang, China.
Phil began his career by training students from northern Manitoba on electrical engineering technologies for generating stations being built in northern Manitoba.
Phil has been a representative of Red River College to ESAM since 2004. In 2005 he was a founding member of the first ESAM Board of Directors till present. In 2008 he became the Secretary of ESAM and has continued to serve in that capacity since.
Phil is a graduate from Red River College in Computer Engineering Technology and a graduate of the University of Winnipeg with a B.Sc.
